Wanted to write

Its been ages since my last post on this diary and in that time I have been sad, elated, depressed, and happy too. Lost my dad Las yr and this yr was pretty much spent in remembrance. Yet, in the corner of my heart I knew my father was happy and free from pain. Pain that drives us crazy, makes us do and say things we regret later. It is pain that stops us from living.our lives.completely. I am.being morose, aren't I? So its going to be my new yrs resolution..... No more looking back and crying. Hopefully I will able to keep up to my word

Smart Tips

Smart Tips 2: Holi Special

Avoid skin eruptions and infections: Use Eco Friendly Colours only

If you don't want to proclaim that you played holi, make liberal use of oil before you start playing with your friends and relatives. Better yet decide to play a dry holi this year, our state is facing a severe drought situation.

A VERY COLOURFUL AND JOYFUL  HOLI TO EVERYONE.

Nostalgic moments!!

St. Joseph Convent High School Vile Parle West
Standard 1
Back to School! is the first thought that crosses our minds everyday. Saw a snap of our sisters on a Facebook page, WHAM! I was back in school.

The school classes, teachers, playground, friends and school that was all that mattered then.

Today its Work, Home, looking good, a good job, a good life....

OMG that is too much stress!

Looking back Standard  1 was a good year.. schools in the afternoon so no stress of getting up early, get ready for and take the bus to school (No fear like we have today)

Come back home, go and actually play with friends and then it was back home to finish studying.

Watching TV at night before dinner and bed....  Wow what a schedule. Today its nothing but run for everything possible to work, to home, race to finish first in everything.

WOULD LOVE TO BE BACK IN SCHOOL!!!!!!

Saturday Here I come.....

Saturday :)

RIDE FOR TODAY

A great start to the day... Lovely blue skies, a bike ride and the wind in you hair... What else could one ask for? Reached work, in no mood to work. Thanks to my friend it was a  wonderful ride from home to work.

Interesting sights, good roads and great company is what one looks forward to while traversing through the country. My next dream is to go  on a road trip.

Tomorrow a day to sleep, laze around and if time permits to complete my story...
Have a great weekend people!  CIAO

Wednesday Update!!

Hey People, haven't been able to update my diary so those of you who read it everyday let me say sorry.
But what could I do when I have been so busy with the things at work i haven't has the time to put in some words.
Neway since someone requested for one of these recipes, i'll add it today as I'd like to fulfill the person's request.

Here goes.. its a dosa/ pancake unlike the usual variety and ingredients that we make. This is fresh dosa and I call it the Soornali.
Ingredients
raw rice: 1 cup
Poha (flattened rice): 1 cup
Fresh coconut grated: 1 cup
curd: 2-3 tbps
Salt to taste
Methi seeds

Preparation: Soak the rice and the methi seeds in one bowl and soak the poha (flattened rice) in another bowl for 2-3 hours. Now grind the rice to a fine paste, once done grind the grated coconut and the poha together to a fine paste. Mix both the batter and add salt to taste.
Now add the curd and mix well. Keep aside for 30 min at-least.
Ladle a spoon on the pan and make a dosa/pancake and cook on a slow flame.
Once done to golden brown serve hot with green chutney that's pungent and sour too.
To make the chutney tarty add a little bit of tamarind to the chutney mix.

Since this dosa is fresh and there is methi in it it will be soft as a dove and quite healthy as there is no oil.
So eat your way to health.. and be happy.
Do add your comments guys... its important that you do........

Till the next time.. cheers...
