My Bachelor friends!!

Bachelors.... what a word right? To everyone that would mean an unkempt house, clothes strewn everywhere.. late nights with booze binges and eating at restaurants or calling for tiffins.

Ugh!What an image! But to my surprise when i visited a friend recently who not only had a clean house, was a teetotaler, and love to make food. So keeping in mind the fact that he's new to cooking.. i thought why not give a recipe for a fried pakora that doesnt need a lot of ingredients and can be done in 30 min flat. So here goes..

2 cups of semolina (rava)
2 medium sized onions finely chopped
3-4 green chillies finely chopped
2-3 tbsp curds
Salt to taste and a pinch of sugar.
Oil to fry

Take the semolina in a bowl, add the chillies, onions and the curd and mix thoroughly into a paste. Keep mining it till the semolina and the other ingredients mix completely and form a dough.
Make about 12-15 small balls of the dough. then flatten them on your palm
Now heat about 4-5 tbps of oil
After that fry them golden brown and pat dry with a tissue to soak excess oil.

P.S: This pakora is called Madur vadai, and is usually made by the Southies who so live bhajiya's of all sorts.
if you like this fast pakora.... and want me to write some more just say so in your comment.
Hope you like this and will surely try it out.

My way is to have it with seviyan wali kheer! Um yum...............
